YEA! Columbus finalist Allison Ricker, a junior at Westerville South High School, will represent our local Young Entrepreneurs Academy on Friday, May 4, in Rochester, New York at the annual YEA! Saunders Scholars Competition. Ricker will pitch her invention, Decleated, which was inspired by her love of soccer and trying to find a way to easily clean dirty cleats after her soccer matches. Finalists from across the nation will go head-to-head in the pitch, competing to win scholarship and prize money to further invest in their businesses.
