The Point at Otterbein is innovation in its best form.

In fact, Otterbein is standing out as a bold leader and innovator with its unique approach as one of the first liberal arts infused centers in Ohio. The Point represents an opportunity to engage in experiential learning in a way that students simply can not do at any other institution.

Why is this important?

It is no longer acceptable to be an expert in one field. A student must be able to communicate with all members of their working environment. The Point focuses on creating opportunities for students to accomplish this using a trans-disciplinary approach.

As companies and partners are joining The Point initiative—they tell us they value students having experience working successfully in cross-disciplinary teams; and they value how students will be engaging with business beyond the traditional internship model.

This is forward thinking at its best. The faculty and industry leaders at The Point are imagining why and how students should learn. Utilizing a hands-on, applied approach prepares students to engage in the way employers want and expect. Otterbein is providing industry with real services and solutions while giving students invaluable learning experiences.

We’re looking for exciting synergies and partnerships and invite you to support the future of learning!
